Reflecting on global power relations from a feminist perspective? This is what the frauen*solidarität magazine has been doing since 1982. As the only feminist development policy magazine in the German-speaking world, it supplies information about transnational women’s and LGBTIQ+ movements, feminisms and global women’s rights. Each issue has a different focus, be it climate justice, workers’ rights or literature. The authors come from all over the world because it is important to us to show different perspectives.

Wo bleibt die globale Solidarität?

Entwicklungszusammenarbeit und humanitäre Hilfe sind in der Krise, weltweit wurden die Mittel dafür stark gekürzt. Ist dies das Ende der globalen Solidarität? In dieser Ausgabe fragen wir, wie es dazu kam und ob in der Krise auch eine Chance liegt, dass dekoloniale, feministische Kritik an „Entwicklung” und ihre Lösungsansätze und Alternativen endlich gehört werden. Wir möchten die globale Solidarität stärken und richten den Blick auf Widerstand und die Errungenschaften von Feminist_innen, etwa im Sudan, im Iran und in Rojava.
